1906 Corset - Front Detail0 viewsThe textile used for this corset was luxury cotton/viscose brocade coutil, a fabric still available today that is very close to the brocades that were used for early Edwardian corsets. Of all the modern corset materials, brocade coutil is the most expensive. Being strong and durable, it requires no interior lining (unlike silk corsets).
